Internet Marketing

With over half a decade of driving traffic and increasing the number of unique hits our clients receive, we have the knowledge of how to improve your company’s search engine ranking.

Search Engine Optimizing (SEO) is a form of Internet marketing for the long run, while Search Engine Advertising (SEA) is a form of Internet marketing for the quick win. Both are a part of the marketing strategy called Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

Over the years, Grayscale has been working with partners on online search engine marketing like SEO and SEA to promote high valued businesses in competitive markets. The basis of the Internet marketing knowledge of Grayscale Hong Kong is in the competitive European marketplace. Grayscale brings this knowledge of Search Engine Marketing to Hong Kong, enabling our customers to excel in their online visibility.

Being on the first page at the search engines, our company gets more business than before.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the act of optimising and altering website settings and web page content to “show” a search engine what the page is about. For example, if you sell socks in Hong Kong, you want to be found on search engines when people in Hong Kong search for a shop which sells socks. Keyword analysis and market survey will show the most optimised words for your business and website to be found upon. Now these keywords have to be “embedded” in the programming language of the page and the content has to be written accordingly.

Another option for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is link-building. Link building is a way of getting traffic to your site. For the socks shop, link building will be getting the website mentioned on a local website which has a collection of boutiques or on a local fashion website. The trick is to get the links on a website which is highly appreciated by the search engine on the articles you want to sell.

SEO, SEA and overall SEM are not exact science, mostly is done on trial and error and the biggest cost cuts is experience.
